Working principle of fuel injectors
The working principle of fuel injectors can be summarized as the following steps:
1. Inhale fuel from the fuel tank
The fuel is sucked into the injector through the oil pump, and at the same time, the filter ensures that the fuel does not contain impurities and pollutants.
2. Fuel pressurization
Through the pressurization effect of the oil pump, the pressure of the fuel increases, the density increases, and the volume of the fuel decreases, resulting in the escape of dissolved gases.
3. Electromagnetic valve control
The high-pressure pipeline generated by the oil pump is directly connected to the fuel injection nozzle, and the injection quantity of the fuel injection nozzle is controlled by the solenoid valve. When the solenoid is stimulated by current and forms a magnetic field, it attracts the pin between the needle valve and the seat cup to open a small hole, allowing oil to be injected from the fuel injection nozzle.
4. Fuel injection
When the electromagnet is stimulated by electric current, the small hole is opened, and high-pressure fuel is sprayed into the engine combustion chamber through the nozzle, mixed with air and ignited, generating explosive force to drive the engine to rotate and form kinetic energy output.
